We have changed the site to a new domain. The reason for this is because we were getting a mystery robots meta tag that had a "noindex,nofollow" directive. We could not understand why this was occurring. We eventually came to the conclusion that it is either a bug or the developer of Semiologic placed a directive in the API call to insert this meta tag into the header for both http://semiologictutorials.tv and http://semiologicreloadedskins.com. I am leaning towards the latter, as we have had a few battles with the developer.

There are a few applications that will effectively protect your downloads, including zip's. These products can be expensive for the average person. Amember will do it, for $179 or DLGuard for $127 and you can only use it on one site or with DLGuard for two sites maximum.

The guys at Tips & Tricks HQ's have come up with two great products, WordPress eStore plugin and WP Affiliate Platform plugin. I have listed these plugins in the recommended plugins page as plugins that will work well with Semiologic. WordPress eStore plugin is a simple, yet an effective way to sell digital products on your site, quickly and with no fuss. This plugin works very well with Semiologic Pro and Semiologic Reloaded, but the best part, is the price, but I am not going to spoil it, check it out WordPress eStore.

I am constantly being asked by Semiologic customers, about which membership software I would recommend.
To recommend a membership program is not an easy task, as each one does something more or less than the others. Plus, finding one that plays well with WordPress and Semiologic is another consideration. There are really only two that are any good, in my opinion, anyway.

The latest release of Semiologic Reloaded V6 is the alpha version. This site is currently using the alpha version.
The latest version seems to be only CSS tweaks and the addition of selecting a different font for the site. The only issue I see with it, is that there is no way to change the font sizes when choosing a global font, unless of course, you go into the style.css and manually do it. The default sizes for the fonts need to be changed, because they are too big and this also needs to be done through the style.css.

Because Semiologic Pro is lacking in plain English documentation, www.semiologictutorial.tv was born. Customers have been crying out for good documentation about how to do, installation, css editing, how to setup Semiologic, what plugins do, how to use widgets and how to write a page or post.
These requests are basic knowledge for using Semiologic Pro, yet its developers fail to deliver.
After filling this niche, we soon discovered that one-on-one coaching is what people want. To be able to have someone show you how to do it and being able to interact at the same time is very popular. We now offer one-on-one coaching, using Team Viewer. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Maxx for the last 6 months, his knowledge and expertise on wordpress, and Semiologic in particular, have been second to none. His company’s customer service have been superb, I have never failed to receive an answer to any question I have had, and Maxx has always been on the end of a Skype call to provide the hand-holding I’ve occasionally needed.
