Semiologic WYSIWYG Editor

Semiologic Tutorial TV - WYSIWYG EditorThe WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor that comes with Semiologic is much to be desired. Every editor that the developers at Semiologic have created, has turned into a disaster.

The latest editor will strip tags and add <p> tags where you don't want them. The tables section of the editor is malformed. Tables are configured incorrectly and lack automated processes. This editor, and much of Semiologic Pro, is not a "no brainer" solution, that Semiologic's Sales Letter page expounds.

A good WYSIWYG editor would provide many more features, then the current editor. Image Resizing and cropping, and Styles, just to mentions a few. A good editor needs to include all the advanced features for the pro, but automated enough for the beginner. If you can get these two worlds into a WordPress editor, then you would have created something special. But most of Semiologic's functions, not just within the WYSIWYG editor, but in all the plugins, are becoming obsolete, as WordPress is including more and more functions, with every new release.
