Semiologic Mediacaster V2

Semiologic Mediacaster V2 has been released and we thought we would give you a sneak peak into what it can do. Mediacaster can now work with Thickbox, which is a popup overlay. Mediacaster is activated through your image uploader in your page/post editor. When your video is uploaded, you can choose a image snap shot from anywhere within the video, to be a place holder. This is the end result, which looks really neat.

The only problem I see is that there is no way to keep the video at the production size, as it makes it bigger in the thickbox and therefore puts the video out of focus, there is no overlay on the image for a play button (when the thickbox option is chosen, the one above was included by myself) and by default, there is no alt tag placed for the image. 4 stars out of 5, but would have received 5 out of 5 stars, if there was a way to control the video size in the thickbox, included a play button overlay (when the thickbox option is checked) on the image and provided an alt tag.
